We are currently looking for a Accounting Specialist to join our team in Aguascalientes. This position will be responsible for the reconciliation of cash received and or cash disbursed for consumer and dealer retail or lease financing. The candidate will be assigned reconciliations that are produced daily, weekly or semimonthly and be responsible for verifying mainframe and general ledger balances. This position will work directly with the operations departments and or IT department to research and resolve variances that occur on customer accounts and general ledger. Knowledge of GAAP and IAS standards are required as well as a working knowledge of balance sheet accounting. This position will adhere that accounting policies are followed when performing their reconciliations and obtain the highest level of customer service.

A Day in the Life:   

• Prepare and process general ledger journal entries in compliance with policy and GAAP.
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
• Analyze and research open reconciliation items and accounts for discrepancies; coordinate resolution of issues with management and other department representatives
• Analyze and explain balance sheet account variances.
• Prepare various reports as required.
• Act as accounting liaison during system implementation projects
• Make process improvement recommendations and implement solutions.
• Assist in providing internal and external audit requests

Who We’re Looking for:

• 1 - 3 years of related experience of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Fluent English

• Able to understand operational process
