Job Description

Are you a seasoned Medical Affairs leader ready to shape strategy across the Baltics?


We’re looking for a visionary Medical Lead to drive our medical affairs agenda in Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia.

The successful candidate can be based in any of the Baltic countries and will report directly to the CEE/SEE/Baltic Cluster Medical Lead.

This is a senior leadership role with broad responsibility for strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team development across the cluster.

As the Senior Medical Leader for the Baltics, you’ll represent our company in high-level internal and external forums, lead a high-performing medical team, and ensure alignment with global and regional priorities while addressing local healthcare needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and execute the medical strategy across the Baltic countries.

  • Represent the medical function in cluster leadership and external engagements.

  • Oversee medical input into reimbursement submissions, tenders, and clinical study feasibility.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies.

  • Provide strategic medical guidance to cross-functional teams including market access, regulatory, and commercial.

  • Drive continuous medical education and scientific exchange initiatives.

  • Manage and develop the medical team, fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, and excellence.

What You Bring:

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree – mandatory

  • Minimum 5 years in the biopharmaceutical industry (Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs)

  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing medical teams

  • Strong strategic thinking, communication skills, and ability to lead in a matrix environment

  • Experience in Oncology is a strong advantage; Infectious Diseases, Vaccines, or Specialty Care also valued

  • Fluency in spoken and written English – mandatory

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MPH, Ph.D., MBA, Health Administration or Economics)

  • Experience in global or regional medical affairs functions

  • Familiarity with clinical study design and execution
