Responsibilities
As the Activity Manager / Operations Manager, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for the operational success of the Activity manufacturing activities. Your core duties will include:
Financial & strategic planning:
Establish and manage the Budget and MTP (Mid-Term Plan) in close collaboration with the Senior Site General Manager and Product Line guidance.
Drive action plans to achieve financial targets
Industrialization & new product launch:
Ensure the flawless industrialization and launch of new products, adhering strictly to VALEO industrial standards.
Actively contribute to Design to Cost initiatives for product and process optimization.
Operational excellence & productivity:
Achieve and surpass targets for direct and indirect labor productivity, TRS/TRP (Total Reliable/Responsible Rate), and scrap reduction.
Maintain optimal Net Inventory and meet CSR (Customer Service Rate) targets.
Coordinate cross-functional improvement actions with other departments.
Quality & compliance:
Ensure strict application of Valeo Quality Standards/Tools within all production activities.
Pilot the local Material Steering Committee and serial changes
Team & general management:
Guarantee correct staffing, competence development, and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance.
Manage the dedicated local activity team and optimize resource allocation in coordination with site support functions (HR, Purchasing, Supply Chain etc).

You are an operational leader with a proven track record in manufacturing management and a commitment to excellence. You possess the following key skills and experience:
Manufacturing Leadership: Deep experience managing a manufacturing operation
Strategic Vision: Ability to set budgets, develop and execute strategic action plans.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex industrialization projects and new product launches successfully.
Financial expertise: Strong understanding of financial data
Continuous improvement: Proficiency in quality standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Lean principles).
Cross-functional collaboration: Stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively with multi-site and multi-function teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing).
People Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
