The Cyber Security Advisor – Identity Control will govern, build, operate, and maintain Suncor’s Directory Services, supporting stakeholders across business units as part of the Enforcement Team under Suncor’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance FrameworkMinimum Requirements:
Business or Computer Science degree, Business or Technical College diploma or equivalent experience
Five years of Directory Services experience
Knowledge and experience in Azure AD, Azure, AWS, Active Directory, PKI, key concepts in Cybersecurity IAM (authentication, authorization, and cloud/application security) and networking
Experience in AD Tiering, Zero Trust models and Cloud Governance considered an asset
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, execution and maturity of the Directory Services strategy and roadmap in accordance with NIST and alignment to Suncor’s digital enterprise strategy.
Maintaining RPO and RTO objectives, Core KPI’s and application lifecycle.
Responsible for the continuous maturity of IAM Standards, Guidelines and Processes - Tiering Model, Privileged Access Management, RBAC, Cybersecurity Incident Response
Location and other Key Details:
This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
After hours support required as part of a weekly on-call rotation every month. Demands will rise for extended support during evenings, nights, and weekends
