The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Full Stack Developer and contribute to building advanced software solutions that support some of the world’s most asset‑intensive industries—including energy, utilities, and mining. As part of our Kraków‑based Platforms Team, you will develop high‑quality, scalable applications that influence plant‑level systems, regional networks, and global operations. Working in a collaborative, innovation‑driven environment, you’ll shape next‑generation features, apply modern development practices, and continuously expand your technical expertise while helping us deliver industry‑leading digital products.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software using the .NET technology stack

• Ensure code reliability through unit testing, clean coding practices, and code reviews

• Contribute to cross‑disciplinary teamwork by actively collaborating toward shared product goals

• Work across front‑end and back‑end components, including React and modern JavaScript frameworks

• Participate in designing and maintaining microservices‑based architectures and related technologies

• Apply and refine AI‑assisted development techniques to improve productivity and quality

• Troubleshoot and enhance development environments, tooling, and system integrations

• Continuously deepen your technical expertise and understanding of the domain

Your Background

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including strong .NET (C#, Web API, Entity Framework) expertise

• Proficiency in JavaScript/React and modern front‑end tooling (Material UI, styled components; Vite a plus)

• Experience with microservices, containers, and distributed systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, message queues)

• Strong understanding of testing practices, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps concepts

• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
