Job Description:
What You’ll Do:
As an Administrative Technician, you will:
Review and process licensure and certification applications
Ensure accuracy of documents such as transcripts and exam scores
Issue, renew, audit, reinstate, and inactivate licenses in accordance with state regulations
Prepare materials for board meetings and coordinate logistics as needed
Maintain and update licensing data using the My License Office (MLO) system
Respond to inquiries from applicants, licensees, and the public
Provide accurate information regarding requirements, statutes, and regulations
Perform general office tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining records
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience performing administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of HIPAA or experience handling confidential documents
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to interpret and explain legal documents and state regulations
High ethical standards and integrity
Comfort working independently while seeking guidance when necessary
