Position Summary

Provide broad HR assistance to administrators, managers, and employees of the Radiology Department. Serves as an advisor to faculty and staff on HR procedures and protocols and will be a liaison with the central offices of Human Resources. Ensures compliance with HR protocol and procedures and data accuracy in accordance with university data standards.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Advisee supervisors and departmental administration about school/department and university human resources policies and procedures.

  • Completing day-to-day HR transactions. (job postings, employee actions, job offers, running reports, and maintaining worker profiles)

  • Ensures compliance with all employment laws.

  • Partners with others to refer employees for guidance and solutions in talent development and management.

  • Standardizes job descriptions and roles to ensure consistency across the school/department and University.  Work closely with central Compensation to obtain proper classification of all new and revised staff job descriptions.  Maintain pay equity for similar jobs.

  • Serves as subject matter expert on recruitment for school/department. Assists with screening/interviewing candidates and provide and provides guidance throughout the recruiting process to select the best candidate.  Utilize best hiring practices.

  • Creates and deliver staff on-boarding/orientation so that all staff feel welcome as part of the community from their first day; ensure all staff receive relevant and consistent information, including facility tours.

  • Provides back-up on HR matters for manager in their absence. Maintains a high level of customer service.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
