bp Communications Summer Intern – Oman

bp has a strong presence in Oman, supporting complex energy projects. Our Communications team plays a key role in shaping internal and external messaging, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful communication across the organization.

Role overview

As a Communications Summer Intern, you will support the team in delivering internal and external communication activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply communication, PR, and marketing knowledge in a real business environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of the Communications team
  • Assist in preparing and developing communication content for different audiences
  • Gather information and insights from various sources to support messaging and storytelling
  • Support internal and external events, including preparation of materials and onsite coordination
  • Assist with monitoring communication channels and reporting where required
  • Collaborating with team members on ongoing projects and initiatives

Who we’re looking for

  • Students in years 3 and 4 of undergraduate studies
  • Studying Public Relations, Communications, Business, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Omani nationality (citizenship required)
  • Strong interest in corporate communications and the energy industry
  • Good writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
