Overview:

Call Center for Construction and Property Management where the goal is to solve issues related to properties where bank business is conducted.  Property Management Assistant's (PMAs) multitask between working with mechanics, property managers, vendors, and landlords and process invoices related to building upkeep and repairs.

Location: This position works on-site at our One M&T Plaza location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work order system for assigned work tasks and assist mechanics and property managers with contacting vendors and landlords. Track for SLA and close out completed requests.
  • Process invoices and associate proper GL Accounts to entries.
  • Be able to adapt to an everchanging and evolving work environment.
  • Work as a team in a shared mailbox where incoming mail gets sorted to regions and handled by PMAs and analysts.
  • Must be able to multitask, pay attention to detail, and react quickly to high priority and emergency situations.
  • Assist with any departmental projects that arise.
  • Take incoming calls on 800 line with property management related emergency situations and be able to redirect to proper departments/contacts.
  • Collaborate with other departments on new system improvements and learning.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This position manages work orders from initiation to completion.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate’s degree in Business, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years’ higher education and/or work experience

Customer service experience

Working knowledge of Construction and Property Management terminology

Education and Experience Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.11 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
