The Leidos Health and Civil Sector is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist who responsible for coordinating all activities associated with contract administration for our customer.  Responsibilities include negotiating, writing, monitoring, and evaluating contracts including ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Candidate MUST:

Be currently located in the United States for the three current consecutive years - role is remote

Be US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a level 4 Public Trust Clearance..

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare contractual agreements using current research methods and a knowledge of a client's needs and ability to fulfill its requirement.
  • Coordinates all steps for bids, quotes, and request for proposal process.
  • Provide technical assistance to vendors regarding contract inquires, expectations, and contract requirements/changes.
  • Coordinate, process, and track change orders and amendments for appropriate approval.
  • Ensure contract compliance and if necessary, may initiate corrective action.
  • Preparing, as required, the termination of contracts for the convenience of the government or default by the contractor
  • Performing contract administration of one or more multi-million-dollar complex contracts and/or Management & Operating (M&O) contracts as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).  The contracts administered may include complex short or long-term cost, incentive, re-determinable, flexibly priced, or firm fixed-price type contracts.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Active Public Trust Clearance or Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance 
  • Minimum 5+ years with contract administration support.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience with performing detailed analysis of bid received to determine bid responsiveness and responsibility of the offer.
  • Experience with preparing and issues solicitation documents
  • Good written and verbal communication skill. 
  • Works well with limited oversight.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
