Territory Sales Manager

Our Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at Hypertherm Associates sells, promotes, and supports OMAX abrasive Waterjets and accessories in MN, IA, SD, ND, WY, NE, MT. This is an established market territory.
As a Hypertherm Associates TSM, you will:
Work closely with exclusive Channel Partners to convert a high level of opportunities into new equipment sales
Build a strong relationship with Channel Partners to continue overproportioned mindshare to our Waterjet product line
Provide support to distribution support team
Deliver new equipment sales against growth and quota responsibilities by selling independently
Train account managers on unique Waterjet characteristics to include in specifications
Who you are and what you bring to the position:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 - 10 years of quota driven industrial/capital equipment sales experience
Ability to work independently and fully self-manage
Demonstrate behaviors exceptionally and mentor others
Problem solve without supervision
Proactive territory strategy
Self-confident and comfortable selling to individuals or complex committee driven organizations
Knowledge of machine tools, manufacturing process or capital equipment sales
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience with CRM systems
This position is mobile; more than 50% travel is required
Experience and/or knowledge of Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Customer/Relationship and Competitive/Industry knowledge
Personal integrity, self-motivation, respectfulness, dedication, team player attitude, and the ability to embrace change
Strong relationship development capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Current driver’s license
Physical Demands and Travel:
Travel: more than 50% per year (primarily driving) with No cap on commission
Mileage reimbursement
Location: Reside in Minnesota
Ability to work from a home office
Located within 1 hour of a major airport
Operate Waterjet equipment within safety guidelines
