The Global Product Specialist is product responsible for a range of products within the Phadia Laboratory Systems portfolio.

The Product Specialist executes the strategy of the relevant product portfolios to maximize short- and long-term growth in line with the company strategy. Manages the day-to-day product portfolio activities, market support, product care and post market surveillance. Quality Club reporting, post-market surveillance, development and improvement activities, as well as product retirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and market product lines in alignment with portfolio strategy and budget.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle and proactively address changes impacting product offerings.
  • Drive day-to-day operational decisions related to product quality, supply, and customer support.
  • Represent Marketing in governance forums, including Complaint Board, Change Control, and CAPA.
  • Lead marketing involvement in product development initiatives and product care projects.
  • Manage product support governance, including support mailboxes and operational calls.
  • Serve as system owner for Quality Club Laboratory Systems.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to inform product strategy.
  • Provide global product support and deliver clear communication to Commercial Operations.
  • Gather and act on insights from post-market surveillance and customer feedback.
  • Review and approve labeling, marketing collateral, user documentation, and other customer-facing materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and brand alignment.
  • Drive successful new product launches in collaboration with marketing managers and commercial teams

How will you succeed in this role?

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.  MSc degree is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in Marketing or MBA is preferred.
  • Possess a good understanding of IVD and/or Medical Devices, preferably with experience of hardware/software related products and services
  • Strong communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and handle changing priorities
  • Able to work cross-functionally, collaborate across global teams and drive execution in cross-functional environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present publicly to varying audience sizes in an English-speaking environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, take initiative, be resourceful, and exercise astute business judgment to drive execution of marketing programs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English and Swedish, both in oral and written communication
  • Customer-focused with a high level of service-orientation and problem solving capacity
