We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join our EMD team!

Responsible for the project management systems and processes within the Project Management Office (PMO).  Provide computer software tools and processes to the Project Managers and project teams to help manage and monitor project progress.   Provide formal and informal training on the tools, processes and best practices necessary to effectively execute projects.

Your Challenge:

  • Develops and maintains systems and processes for performing the project management discipline at EMD including maintaining and supporting existing Project management systems i.e., Primavera, system integrators, EAC Dashboard, PM reports.  Supports project managers and program control analysts by investigating and resolving issues/questions on management systems.
  • Defines Oracle Project and APEX usage approaches and communicates those to Project teams.  Interfaces with finance and accounting to ensure Oracle projects is consistent with Oracle accounting setup and practices. Participates in Oracle COE as PMO representative.
  • Develops, modifies, schedules, runs and evaluates project and functional reports as needed.  
  • Supports the monthly Sales and Operations Planning and 5 Year Strategic Planning processes; maintains support manpower for forecast projects.
  • Supports EP&R manpower planning process, including 6- 9- setup and analysis.
  • Supports Quarterly Project Reviews and maintains the review template and managers the monthly EAC process
  • Develops, maintains, and improves the Project Management Standards Manual incorporating best practices, lessons learned, and industry advances
  • Provides training on project management tools, processes, and best practices, and other support to the Project Management Office as needed
  • Improves existing technologies/tool currently in use for project management and works to develop and implement new tools to improve project management efficiency

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Management Systems, Business, or relevant field from accredited institution.
  • 5+ years applicable progressive experience.
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Excellent understanding of project management techniques and processes.
  • Excellent understanding and application of process improvement tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of cost and revenue budgets, Primavera, Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to review and analyze data communicate and implement solutions
  • An individual must be strong in most of the Korn Ferry competencies listed below to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
