Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Application Architect / Salesforce System Architect to lead technical governance, platform optimization, and architectural strategy for enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. This role is critical in ensuring scalability, security, and compliance while driving best practices across development and support teams.
Technical Leadership & Governance
1. Provide ongoing guidance to Build and Support teams to resolve technical challenges.
2. Review and validate complex solution designs prior to Design Authority approval.
3. Establish and enforce development best practices and workflows across teams.
4. Implement horizontal governance to ensure quality and consistency in delivery.
5. Offer architectural support for AMS teams during P1 incidents and security escalations.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
7. Validate and challenge designs from internal teams and external partners.
8. Promote platform-specific design awareness (e.g., LDVs, limits, migrations).
Platform Optimization & Scalability
1. Define and propose Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for performance, scalability, and reliability.
2. Conduct impact assessments for large data volumes, high transaction loads, and integration patterns.
3. Design scalable architecture to support future growth and evolving business needs.
4. Monitor and tune platform performance, including API usage and governor limits.
5. Recommend platform enhancements and refactoring strategies for maintainability and throughput.
Security & Compliance
1. Analyze penetration test results and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
2. Support security scans and compliance checks executed by vendors.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Represent the organization in technical architecture forums and discussions with senior management.
2. Share architectural principles of cloud platforms (SaaS, multitenancy, integration patterns).
DevOps & Automation Support
1. Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD automation and release management.
2. Ensure architectural alignment with automation strategies and tooling.
Mentorship & Training
1. Coach and mentor junior team members through sessions and formal training.
2. Groom junior technical architects for career progression.
3. Lead large-scale enablement programs (e.g., LWC / AI training for 50+ resources).

Essential Qualifications
1. Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect certification is mandatory.
2. Proven experience in Salesforce technical architecture and governance for enterprise platforms.
3. Strong knowledge of Salesforce limits, LDVs, integration patterns, and scalability principles.
4. Expertise in performance tuning, security compliance, and DevOps practices.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
6. Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.

Preferred Skills
1. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
2. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
3. Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
4. Exposure to AI/ML integrations within Salesforce ecosystem.
