About the Role

AIA Hong Kong is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead and drive strategic programs. This role will be accountable for orchestrating the delivery of key Technology programs for AIA in HK, Macau and the Greater Bay Area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the technology delivery for key strategic programs in AIA HK & Macau
  • Orchestrate multiple large projects and programs to achieve the stated business goals and KPIs.
  • Lead a team of project managers, analysts, engineering and testers and delivery teams in ensuring the program delivers on committed plans and milestones.
  • Manage all aspects of the program delivery including and not limited to
    • Program and Project financials
    • Program execution and delivery
    • Program reporting
    • Program risk management
  • Engage, support and manage senior (C-level) stakeholders across a spectrum of departments. Drive and contribute to effective Steering committees.
  • Engage with Group office stakeholders for reporting and alignment.
  • Engage with planning and strategic discussions and help steer and provide strong technical, digital and analytics support to business stakeholders.
  • Influence and drive business teams to the necessary outcomes to drive business value.
  • Set the direction and delivery path for the overall program. Drive and deliver individual component projects.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of Project/Program Management experience, with significant experience in the healthcare ecosystem
  • Open and effective communication skills, ability to communicate up and down to varying levels of stakeholders spread across complex organization structures.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline
  • Knowledge of financial management/budgets in relation to project delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with demonstrated experience in presenting to senior (C-Level) forums
  • Strong SDLC / Agile / Devops knowledge
  • Knowledge of current industry-wide approaches and best practices for Project management, Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation in finance/insurance industry, with clear demonstrated experience in managing large, complex strategic programs
  • Able to work in fast paced and challenging environments
  • Self-starter, creative thinking, proactive, enthusiastic and a team player
  • Takes ownership and accountability
