Job Summary
The Mammography Clinic Manager is responsible for the administration and day-day operations of the mammography clinic(s)

Reports to:

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic
• Participate in hiring, coaching, performance management, annual evaluations, employee engagement initiatives, and disciplinary actions
• Ensures compliance with licensing and regulatory standards (Federal, State, and ACR)
• Manage appropriate data collection of information needed to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, as well as FDA MQSA QA/QC credentials
• Submits ACR/TDH accreditation application and renewals
• Evaluate medical supplies and equipment purchase requests
• Performs all duties as a Mammography Technician, when needed
• All other related duties assigned to Mammography

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any field or Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• + 5 years breast imaging or oncology experience
• + 3 years of leadership experience, leading people and/or processes

Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations
• BLS Certified
• ARRT certified in Mammography

Skills and Abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to express independent judgement while effectively working in a team environment
• Knowledge of MQSA site accreditation
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budget management, and staff development

Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
This position works closely with nursing, physicians, and other medical staff throughout the hospital. May also require interaction with external vendors, providers, and resources outside of the UMC hospital

Physical Capabilities
Work requires prolonged standing, sitting, and frequent walking, bending, and lifting.

Environmental/Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside environmental changes that may include constant change in temperatures. Exposure to blood borne pathogens is a high risk
