The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our technical operations team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. The Junior Business Analyst will work with the team to collect and define client requirements, analyze business and technical processes to recommend improvements and best practices, and collect and assist with development and delivery of contract deliverables. This is direct support of a 24/7/365 environment for DHS sites in the National Capital Region.  


Responsibilities:
 

Assist the Business Analyst and larger Quality Management Office (QMO) with the interpretation of business requirements, processes, and documentation support.


Responsibilities include:


             Assist with analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and/or improved process improvements. 
             Gather, interpret, and track business and technical requirements in support of all technical projects.
             Assist with the coordination with cross-functional teams to ascertain system requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, and controls.
             Assist with the management and maintaining of the Knowledge Base and documentation. 
             Draft and edit documents such as Weekly Status Reports and Monthly Status Reports.
             Conduct Quality Reviews of documentation to identify improvements opportunities. 
             Apply business concepts and theories to real-world decision making. 
             Increase proficiency in specific business disciplines such as Operations Management. 
             Create and distribute operational reports as requested.
             Attend and assist with facilitation of weekly/monthly operational meetings, capturing minutes, actions, and following up with internal DSS team members accordingly.
             Assist the QMO with metric, SLA, documentation, etc. reviews to ensure quality
             Perform additional duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications:

Required: 

             Able to obtain/maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability clearance
             B.A / B.S Degree and 3-5yrs of experience
             Advanced proficiency with Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
             Advanced eye for detail and quality
             Strong interest in Continual Service Improvement (CSI)
             Desire to learn PowerBI
             Team Player
             Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and concepts
             Understanding of IT Service Management



Desired:


             Previous DHS or DoD experience
             ITILv3 or v4 Foundations certification

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
