As a Competitive Sourcing Specialist on the Procurement as a Service (PaaS) team, you’ll lead sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and procurement processes across Fidelity’s business divisions. This includes renewals, new products and services, and vendor relationships across categories like professional services, hardware, telecom, software, and cloud. You’ll work strategically to secure optimal pricing and terms while mitigating risk, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive scale and efficiency.
Experience or knowledge in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing
Commercial and contract negotiation skills
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
Strong relationship management and vendor oversight capabilities
BS/BA in Business Administration
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
Passion for driving business outcomes and improving efficiency
Ability to lead negotiations and evaluate suppliers across financial, technical, and performance dimensions
Strong customer focus and collaborative mindset

The PaaS team supports Fidelity’s business units in making informed purchasing decisions that reduce risk and enhance value. You’ll assist associates engaging with new or existing vendors, and collaborate with product managers, contract managers, vendor managers, risk, ESG, legal, and finance teams. The team thrives on strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and delivering impactful sourcing solutions across the firm.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
