We are looking for a Workday AMS Consultant – HCM to support post implementation operations and ongoing enhancements across Workday HCM, with a focus on Compensation and Absence. This role is part of an AMS support model and involves handling production support tickets, engaging proactively with clients, and ensuring stable, high quality system operations. The consultant will work closely with functional leads and client stakeholders to resolve issues, advise on best practices, and maintain strong client relationships. Flexibility in working hours is required to support global clients.

Requirements:

  • Provide AMS support for Workday HCM, including Compensation and Absence business processes.
  • Own and resolve HCM, Compensation, and Absence support tickets, including analysis, configuration updates, testing, and deployment.
  • Engage proactively with clients to understand issues, provide recommendations, and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Support Compensation cycles (merit, bonus, eligibility updates) and Absence processes as part of ongoing operations.
  • Perform Workday release impact analysis and support regression testing for supported modules.
  • Collaborate with AMS leads and internal teams to ensure timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Maintain strong client rapport, acting as a trusted functional advisor.
  • Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferences:

  • Workday HCM certification – mandatory.
  • 1–4 years of experience supporting or implementing Workday HCM, preferably in an AMS or post‑production support model.
  • Functional experience in Compensation and/or Absence, including configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of HCM business processes, eligibility rules, and downstream impacts.
  • Experience handling production issues, enhancements, and client queries in a structured support environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with client stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work with flexible timings to support global clients.
