Position Summary
There is an opportunity to join the laboratory of Dr. Stacey Rentschler at Washington University School of Medicine. Our lab investigates the transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms regulating programming of electrophysiological phenotypes. We use a wide variety of techniques to study cardiac physiology and regulation of gene expression in murine and human model systems.

Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience performing techniques such as RNA isolation, RT-qPCR, histologic sectioning, and/or immunohistochemistry is highly preferred.
- Willingness to handle mice.
- Highly motivated.
- Ability to work well independently and also enjoy working together on a team.
