Smartly Launchpad is a learning experience for rising engineers looking to jumpstart their coding careers. Expect to work as a full-fledged team member from day one, taking ownership of product development and solving ad-hoc customer problems.

We tailor the Smartly Launchpad experience according to both your and our developer teams’ preferences. The length of the program is 6 months with the possibility of a permanent contract after if everything goes well. 

We are looking for a diverse set of developers across multiple teams at Smartly. You can be a fullstack engineer, or more focused on either frontend or backend. Our main technology stack consists of React, Typescript and Node.js. We also have teams which work with Ruby on Rails.

What to expect

• Like any other developer at Smartly, you'll get hands-on with building a software product for the largest online advertisers globally.
• Work closely with your team of bright colleagues.
• Add to your technical abilities and grow your skillset within our tech stack
• Provide technical support to our customers on a monthly basis (as all Smartlies do).

What we expect from you

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Some web development experience (i.e. internships or own projects)
• Proficiency in English, which is the official language in our company
• Recent graduation from a relevant field of studies or on at least your third year of studies
• Skills in React, NodeJS and Typescript or Ruby on Rails
• Understanding of typed languages and testing
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office 3 days a week

Practicalities

Application process: initial call with recruiter, live coding interview and and interview with a potential team lead

Program start date: ideally 20.1.2025, preferably 37,5 hours per week

Duration: six months, possibility for a permanent contract after if everything goes well

Compensation: base salary of 3,000€–3,200€ + benefits including for example lunch and wellness benefit
