As Program Manager IV, you will provide leadership for high-level, institute-specific initiatives in cancer research, overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of designated programs. This role entails planning, developing, and maintaining systems and procedures, serving as a liaison between the department and external stakeholders, and mentoring and coaching departmental staff, all to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives. This position offers an excellent way to utilize your multitasking, financial, critical-thinking and forward-thinking skills to support a dedicated and innovative team of fellow caregivers. 

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This position may be hybrid, offering flexibility based on departmental needs, while requiring attendance at on-site meetings.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.  

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside the community.  

  • Facilitate implementation of staff wellness initiatives 

  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements.  

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.  

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and six years of related experience OR Master’s Degree and five years of related experience

  • Experience in Oncology, Strategy, or Research

  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research, and business plan development

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Master’s degree

  • Healthcare experience
