The Business Data, Analytics & Tools (BDAT) team enables Sales, Marketing, Product, and Business Management functions with data, insights, client research, and tools & technology.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual and a self-starter with experience in Business Management and Business Analysis. You are an expert in capturing and understanding business requirements and translating complex problems into actionable requests for analytics and technical teams. You are data and tech savvy and can make practical and innovate recommendations based on business and users’ needs. You have expert project management and stakeholder management skills.

Role Summary:

  • Responsible for driving the understanding of ongoing technology, analytics, and data requirements for the Europe Asia Client Groups (Sales, Marketing, Product).

  • Prioritising demands and working with the business to implement initiatives.

  • Being proactive in the delivery of your own work, as well as that of the wider team. Present ideas and solutions to a range of stakeholders, solicit feedback, make recommendations and be a driver for change and improvement.
     

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Strategy:

    • Work with senior leaders in the Client Group – particularly in APAC – to understand their challenges and opportunities across data, analytics, and systems requirements.

    • Be seen as a partner to the broader Client Group, and someone they can work with to have data, analytics, and technology (product management) based solutions to their problems.

    • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data and tools with strategy.

    • Drive change through automation, systems, and innovative solutions.

    • Identify opportunities for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change and define success measures.

  • Data:

    • Source new data across core markets.

    • Partner with the data team to enhance data quality and consistency.

    • Focus on automation and self-service delivery.

    • Support business users to understand and adopt data best practices.

    • Help uncover possible analytics and data solutions

  • Tools:

    • Develop and enhance the technology toolkit for sales, product, and marketing.

    • Ensure tools align with industry best practices.

    • Enhance internal user experience and integrate tools for seamless use.

    • Partner with IT to improve infrastructure and manage large-scale projects.

    • Support agile working and delivery of outcomes, including iterative development, testing and deployment of tasks.

  • Research:
    • Help our business understand their clients better, through quantitative and qualitative approaches, helping us understand the Voice of our Clients

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Industry knowledge of best practices around tools, analytics, AI, and data.

  • Knowledge of systems such as SFDC and Seismic.

  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills, and ability to influence

  • Confident in facing the business, with strong presentation and communication skills, translating complex technical or data concepts to different audiences.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage people. Comfort in working across time zones, particularly between Singapore and London, where necessary.

  • Basic understanding of SQL is beneficial but not essential

  • Experience in Asset Management / Finance preferred but not essential

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
