As an RN Team Lead, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, clinical workflows, delivery of care, and caregiver education across a variety of outpatient specialties. This role blends direct patient support with clerical and administrative responsibilities, making it a unique opportunity to strengthen both your nursing and leadership skills. You will play a vital role in encouraging team growth, supporting a welcoming patient experience, and positively impacting the health and well-being of your community. 

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30am to 4:30pm. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.  
• Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.  
• Administer RN-only medications for OBGYN, Pain, Ortho & Family Medicine. 
• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.   
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.  
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.  
• Assist in preparing department specific education.  
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.  
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing 
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) 
• Two years of recent RN experience 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Certification within six months of hire 
• Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations  
• Experience performing telephone triage  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) 
• Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience 
• Prior ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience
• Prior experience in orthopedics 

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
• Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
• Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
