At Standard Textile, we’re dedicated to providing comfort and care across generations. Guided by our values, we focus on solutions that serve our customers, support our associates, and strengthen our communities. Since 1940, we’ve remained committed to creating better textiles—delivered seamlessly by experts who care.
The Manager of Interiors Group Supply Chain will own end-to-end supply chain performance for Standard Textile’s Interiors Group (IG), including strategic sourcing for the Americas, daily procurement execution, and operational excellence. This role will lead a team of B2B Buyers, serve as IG’s single voice to suppliers, and partner closely with the Product Line Manager and IG Financial Lead to ensure supply decisions drive profitable growth through reliable delivery, controlled costs, and improved inventory turns.
Responsibilities Include:
Assess team structure and evolve roles, category ownership, and execution standards as the business grows.
Coach and develop buyers with clear goals tied to business outcomes; build capability through cross-training and succession planning.
Lead the monthly S&OP cadence across Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain-measured by proactive supply decisions that improve predictability and execution speed.
Translate demand signals into executable supply plans; strengthen forecasting for configured and make-to-order production at STC facilities.
Own inventory policy (safety stock, reorder points, min-max) to improve turns and reduce excess/obsolete exposure while maintaining service levels.
Define and standardize IG’s sourcing process-supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing management.
Develop short- and long-term sourcing strategy across hard and soft goods; partner with Corporate and Global Sourcing on overseas suppliers.
Lead negotiations and drive cost optimization through TCO analysis, BOM optimization, and MOQ/freight improvements-with savings validated by Finance.
Maintain accurate supplier cost data in ERP so quotes, bids, and margin analysis reflect current supply economics.
Ensure end-to-end PO accuracy: placed, confirmed, tracked, received, and reconciled against negotiated terms-targeting clean execution with minimal rework.
Build a data-driven vendor ranking system (cost, quality, OTIF, responsiveness) with structured quarterly reviews and corrective action protocols.
Standardize processes and improve data quality to enable reliable reporting, actionable dashboards, and leadership transparency.
Qualifications Include:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years in supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, or planning; project-based environments preferred.
2+ years people leadership with demonstrated success developing buyers and driving execution.
Proven negotiation skills with measurable cost and service improvements.
Strong S&OP and inventory fundamentals; ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
Preferred
CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification.
Experience with hard and soft goods categories in interiors and program installation environments.
Track record building supplier governance systems and leading structured process improvement.
