As the Business Operations Associate, you will execute on operational activities to deliver excellent service to Private Wealth Management clients. You will be the subject matter expert on multiple operational functions. You will also work collaboratively with other functions in Private Wealth to answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and support special projects.  This role is hybrid (Tues/Wed/Thur on site).

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Responsible for executing on operational procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Will be the innovation rep, provide training, release management, capture firm POV, and establish standardization.
  • Serve as a liaison between the front & middles offices and our technology providers.
  • Additional changes – quality control, lock down experience, reporting.
  • Track, maintain, and report on KPIs.
  • Responsible for executing on day-to-day transactions for areas of direct responsibility in operations.
  • Works collaboratively with Senior Associates on team to resolve complex operational issues and escalations.
  • Ensure internal clients have a positive service experience that always exceeds their expectations.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships to drive continuous improvement of processes.
  • Leverage Private Wealth technologies to process transactions and deliver on responsibilities.
  • Understand overall business needs and help identify value-added services and client/associate experiences that Private Wealth can provide.
  • Review activities within the job scope for sufficient controls to prevent errors, fraud, and omissions.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policy, operational policy, and regulatory guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
  • You have 3+ years of applicable experience within Financial Services.
  • You can solve complex problems.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail, yet ability to grasp big picture.
  • You are highly organized and can effectively multi-task.
  • You have an understanding of financial services operational best practices and a knack for generating “wow” moments for clients.
  • You are able to balance a client experience mindset when managing and controlling business risks.
  • You can work independently, collaborating with others to accomplish client objectives.
  • You are an analytical problem solver with the ability to think creatively.
  • You possess general knowledge of new account opening, investments, client onboarding requirements and cash management. 
  • You can organize and prioritize activities to ensure completion within established deadlines.
  • You have exceptional written communication.
  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • You show proficiency in UMB custody and clearing platforms such as SEI and Fidelity Wealthscape.

Bonus points if:

  • You have demonstrated client service experience within a wealth management institution.
  • You have knowledge of Personal Trust, Custody, and Investment management service offerings and account types.
  • Working knowledge of complex account types.
  • You have demonstrated experience with a wide range of client situations and inquiries.
  • You possess general knowledge of compliance rules and regulations within wealth management. 
  • You are proficient with eMoney client portal and financial planning software.
  • You show proficiency in Workday, Peoplesoft, Archer, Skillport and Hyperion.
  • You are proficient in Salesforce CRM software.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $44,790.00 - Maximum: $103,820.00
