Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Shelby team!

As our Supplier Quality Engineer you will, provide supplier quality management during new parts and mass production process which includes new part approval and suppliers nonconforming disposition, on-site audit, performance review etc. Make sure all parts from supplier meet company requirement.

Your Challenge

• Maintain new supplier evaluation, new parts validation and approval for new projects and parts localization project.
• Resolve problems for parts issued from customer, production, or IQC. Provide analysis on all processes to determine the root cause and propose a solution. Provide follow up to suppliers.
• Monitor/support suppliers’ product/process quality control system improvement by system/process/product audit, supplier training and project management etc. Responsible for ensuring suppliers comply with environmental laws and requirements

What You Bring

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen
• ISO9001 and ISO/TS16949 internal auditor
• MS office, communication skills, and knowledge of at least one field (Mechanical or Electrical component).
• 4-6 years of related experience.
• Decision making and excellent problem solving skills.
• Project Management, 6 Sigma green belt is a plus.
