What you will do:

As a Material Handler I, you will handle the physical and administrative tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

  • Pick, pack, and ship both domestic and international sales orders using a barcode scanner and process packages via FedEx, UPS, and Powership stations.

  • Verify order accuracy with RF scanners and create, prepare, and print shipping labels.

  • Package products to meet shipping criteria, adhere to temperature controls where applicable, and ensure the correct items are boxed for customer orders.

  • Collaborate with quality and production teams to manage the movement of parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant.

  • Maintain and reconcile a computerized inventory system to ensure accuracy.

  • Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification, traceability, and conduct problem-solving as needed.

  • Assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed, including set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of work and work area.

  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends 

What you will need:

  • High School or GED, preferred  

  • Shipping/Receiving and/or Manufacturing Experience, preferred  

  • Ability to exert up to 10-50 pounds regularly and up to 50-75 pounds occasionally

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as needed

  • Good visual acuity and demonstrated fine motor skills
