The Smart Factory Program Manager is responsible for driving the implementation and continuous improvement of smart manufacturing solutions, leading the digital transformation of factory operations. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of digital initiatives with business objectives, and overseeing the deployment of MES application to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. The Program Manager will work closely with engineering, IT, production, and executive teams to deliver innovative solutions and manage the entire lifecycle of smart factory projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of MES implementation across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, AI, IoT, and other digital technologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of smart factory solutions across convatec global network.
• Drive change management efforts, ensuring smooth integration of new technologies into existing processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Establish performance metrics to track progress and report on the impact of digital initiatives.
• Serve as the main point of contact between business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and evaluations of smart factory systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in delivering projects in the domain of manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and other industrial software platforms.
• Proven experience in managing complex manufacturing or industrial automation projects.
• Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, robotics, automation, and data analytics.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, driving change in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on innovation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is highly desirable.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile are beneficial.
