Job Description
Comcast is expanding the organization which develops and implements the company’s overall wireless and other connectivity strategy. We desire to develop a team which will drive innovation and appropriate investments to ensure the company is both competitive and innovative at the intersection of wireless and wireline services, including use of its core strengths of 27+ million customer relationships, 22+ million WiFi hotspots, state of the art network assets, wireless spectrum licenses and unparalleled entertainment generation and distribution capabilities.
As Executive Director, Wireless Strategy & Planning, you will:
- Have an opportunity to be part of Strategic Development, the fastest growing team at Comcast.

- Lead the group’s efforts in identifying, evaluating and implementing growth initiatives.
- Be part of a team of agile and motived individuals.
- Report to the VP of Wireless Strategy and Product Planning.
- Manage a small team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s efforts in identifying, analyzing and developing a point of view on key industry trends such as fixed mobile convergence, edge compute or satellite communications.
- Identify, prioritize and develop growth initiatives including their investment-benefit implications (e.g., business case) and operational requirements (e.g., trial, deployment).
- Transform growth initiatives into commercial go-to-market plans. Support implementation within Comcast’s business units across technology, product, marketing, pricing, finance and other functional areas.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and/or acquisitions to support Comcast’s growth.
- Work as part of a team that collaborates across all of Comcast’s businesses globally.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong quantitative skills in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate and socialize complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Willingness to adapt and work in an evolving environment.
