AIG is seeking an experienced, self-starting individual for a Regional Service Coordinator in AIG’s Warranty Business.  This position manages all open claims events to ensure proper servicer activity as well as customer satisfaction.  This role also has responsibility for managing all Dispatch and Open Claims Management needs for the business.  This position is located in Jeffersonville, IN within the warranty business – just 1 mile from downtown Louisville, KY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Using current software to engage service providers to assist the customers

  • Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls related to all dispatched claims, open claims issues and service provider related issues. Makes sure the customer is updated on the status of all pending issues. Once the solution has been completed, makes sure the customer has all the needed info

  • Using proper telephone etiquette, provides quality customer service

  • Dispatches service providers within accepted rate limits; responsible for controlling cost via lowest cost/highest quality service solution for each claim

  • First point of contact for incoming customer service inquiries

  • Handling new claim requests within service level agreement timeframes

  • Solicitation of new or existing service centers based on contact coverage needs

  • Sending necessary forms to all parties involved in the claim and performing all necessary follow-up

  • Report and/or correct issues with all parties involved in the claim

Position Requirements

  • Prior Customer Serice

  • Technical Experience

  • Project Management Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Team oriented

  • Previous call center experience preferred
