The Role: Student Worker – Structured Finance Team

The Location: São Paulo, BR

The Team: Our practice specializes in providing rating analysis for structured finance transactions, with a primary focus on Credit Rights Investment Funds (FIDCs) and other securitizations, both in Brazil (CRIs and CRAs) and throughout South America.

The Impact: This role will provide direct support to the senior analysts in the team and will also provide assistance to the team in a global environment company. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, and understanding of complex financial instruments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze structured finance transaction data.
  • Prepare credit-metrics reports.
  • Review transaction databases and assist in preparing periodic review materials.
  • Support the credit analysis.
  • Help with research and synthesizing data for articles and presentations.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Economics, Business/Administration, Finance, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences, or related field, with expected graduation date on July 2025 (or after)
  • Comprehensive English communication skills (Intermediate level reading, speaking, and writing).
  • Available to have an “estágio” for 1 year or more.
  • Able to work 30 hours per week.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn about Brazilian capital markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Team player with ability to work without constant supervision.
  • Spanish knowledge desirable.

Responsabilidades:

  • Coletar e analizar dados de performance de operações estruturadas.
  • Elaborar relatórios de métricas de risco e crédito.
  • Revisar bancos de dados de transações e auxiliar na elaboração de materiais de revisões periódicas.
  • Auxiliar os analistas na análise dos créditos.
  • Participar de pesquisas e processamento de dados para a elaboração de artigos e apresentações.

O que estamos procurando:

Qualificações básicas:

  • Cursando graduação em Economia, Matemática, Engenharia, Contabilidade, Administração, Ciências Atuariais ou cursos correlatos, com data de formatura prevista para julho de 2025 (ou depois).
  • Comunicação proficiente em inglês (nível intermediário de leitura, conversação e escrita).
  • Disponibilidade para realizar um estágio por 1 ano ou mais.
  • Disponibilidade para trabalhar em horário comercial 30h por semana.
  • Pessoa orientada à detalhes e motivada para aprender sobre o mercado de capitais brasileiro.
  • Conhecimento avançado de Excel.
  • Team player com capacidade de trabalhar sem supervisão constante.
  • Conhecimento de Espanhol é desejável.
