Job Description:

Our Grid Automation business unit has a comprehensive portfolio of solutions. These range from substation automation, communication networks, grid automation services, grid edge solutions to enterprise software solutions. These solutions address all key segments connected to the energy system including generation, transmission distribution, industries, transportation and infrastructure sectors.

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Site IT Delivery Manager to oversee and manage IT operations at our factory or Hitachi Energy site. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and delivering top-notch support to our business operations. You will be at the forefront of managing IT resources, implementing security measures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet the site's IT demands.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Site IT team, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company objectives

• Oversee ticket management processes, including ticket triage, escalation, and resolution to maintain service quality

• Provide onsite infrastructure support and ensure seamless IT service delivery

• Maintain governance and enforce security protocols to protect the site’s IT environment

• Collect and manage business requirements for both factory and office environments, ensuring IT solutions meet operational needs

• Manage IT build projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals

• Provide first-line support and governance for applications used at the site, ensuring their availability and reliability

• Oversee OT Asset IT/OT cybersecurity management and respond promptly to cybersecurity emergencies

• Plan and manage the site’s IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining service quality

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience in Information Systems

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in incident management and IT service delivery

• Strong command of English, with additional proficiency in the local language of the site’s country

• At least 2 years of experience in managing complex, global IT projects

• Understanding of manufacturing operations, processes, and change management is advantageous

• Experience in managing stakeholders, solving cross-functional issues, and a deep understanding of IT policies and business processes

• Flexibility to manage IT resources across multiple shifts in a factory environment
