Job Summary

    The Payroll Specialist I, Language Services, will work with the Language Operations Managers on correcting and approving time cards for all interpreters before each payroll cycle. This included punch corrections, entering missed PTO, bereavement hours, etc.

    *This is 3-4 month contract role

    Job Responsibilities

    • Accurately process time cards for several language teams weekly.

    • Ensure back-up documentation and record retention is in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

    • Verify hours worked using Calabrio and Pentaho.

    • Build and maintain reports as requested by management.

    • Responsible for payroll for Language Services Internal Customers & Partners, Interpreters, Language Operations Managers, and Human Resources.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • High School Diploma/GED plus 0-2 years of work experience

      Additional Experience

      • Experience in Payroll processing multi-site, multi-state payroll required

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

      • Proven knowledge of MS Excel, Paycom (timekeeping), Calabrio (scheduling system), and Pentaho (reporting) software

      • Working knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and of payroll and tax reporting and compliance required 

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate

        $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
