Department Overview

The Accessories and Energy Software team plays a pivotal role in the product development lifecycle, starting from front-end design and architectural development to costing, agile development, and test automation. With a focus on innovation, the team drives an exciting product roadmap aimed at mobilizing and connecting people in the moments that matter most.


Job Description

  • Develop firmware for communication devices targeted at professional, government, and mission-critical markets.
  • Participate in product development activities, including design, implementation, and testing, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Collaborate with front-end and test teams to ensure effective implementation of features.
  • Assist in technical analysis to identify and resolve basic to moderately complex issues.
  • Contribute to peer design and code reviews, learning from feedback and providing input.
  • Work within cross-functional teams to support feature delivery and address product challenges.
  • Assist in defining software requirements and creating specifications for new features.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, including design and implementation details.
  • Apply basic knowledge of Agile software development methodology in day-to-day tasks.
  • Perform and support unit, integration, and system testing activities.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Telecommunications/Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 1-2 years of experience in firmware or embedded systems development.
  • Basic programming skills in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with embedded system debugging tools and basic analytical skills.
  • Exposure to microprocessors, controller design, or memory devices.
  • Basic understanding of test equipment such as oscilloscopes or logic analyzers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GIT tools or version control systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of LTE/WIFI/Bluetooth/Sensors is a bonus but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
