The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Global Procurement Fleet Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
Providing end-to-end category and sub-category leadership, serving as the global leader for procurement Fleet
Responsible for driving supplier consolidation, while helping 3M and the Procurement organization meet its cost savings and working capital goals.
Developing and implementing the global sub-category strategy to ensure business continuity, resilience, and value creation
Leading supplier selection and owning external supplier relationships as the key point of contact for 3M, leading negotiations, being part of effective Category Management, and managing complex supplier relationships.
Developing strong partnerships with suppliers and internal 3M stakeholders, including Enterprise Workplace Strategy Global Fleet Manager, Regional EWS Fleet Leader and Finance.
Business reviews with key stakeholders to support collaboration, service, capacity, market insights, savings pipeline, and performance improvement
Driving year over year profitability & free cash flow improvements through highly complex supplier negotiation and development
Influencing internal stakeholders to prioritize activities that drive cost reduction, working capital improvement, risk reduction, efficiency, competitiveness for the global category
Establishing and managing highly strategic supplier relationships that provide access to leading technologies and capabilities
Negotiating and establishing multi-divisional highly complex vendor contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best in class service
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Seven (7) years or more of combined sourcing, procurement, supply chain experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
