Target Range:

$80,000.00 /Yr. - $100,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos Clearing is seeking a Software Engineer to support a variety of financial services, including equity and mutual fund trading, account management, and document generation. This role is essential in helping to build a large-scale system with a strong focus on microservices and system integrations. The ideal candidate should have experience with .NET Core, Go, or similar modern programming languages, and be eager to develop skills in managing complex microservices environments

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders and project leadership to implement and refine project requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and development of secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions.
  • Assist in building and maintaining microservices, integrating with external systems as needed.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in professional software development.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Go, C# (.NET Core), or similar programming languages.
  • Basic familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with NoSQL or relational databases.
  • Understanding of REST APIs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn about emerging technologies and adapt to project requirements.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab CI).
  • Experience in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
