Summary of Job Duties:

The Pharmacist II works under minimal supervision to assess, prepare, dispense and assist in coordinating all day-to-day dispensing functions of the pharmacy in a timely and accurate manner. A pharmacist II will assist with technician and student supervision/direction as it relates to day-to-day dispensing functions, tasks and job duties to provide timely and efficient patient services. The pharmacist will have frequent communication with other healthcare professionals as a drug information resource and provide educational information to ensure great patient care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy plus 3 years of experience working as a pharmacist (or pharmacy intern) in a retail or hospital setting.

• Pharmacy license through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for AR licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PLUS PGY-1 residency or three (3) years of applicable experience with advanced skills

• Advanced degree – (MS, MBA, MHA, MPA, etc.) AND/OR completion of a general or administrative ASHP-accredited residency

• One (1) year of prior supervisory or personnel management experience AND/OR five (5) years of experience in applicable area or PGY-2 residency

• Board certification or equivalent accredited certification/credentials in a related field
