Job Title: Director, Operations-Home Care
Department: HHC CHHA ADMINISTRATION
Location: Rochester Regional Health Home Care - Monroe Ave.
Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

 

SUMMARY:

  This position provides strategic and operational leadership for home care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, financial performance, and staff management. A key member of the leadership team, working collaboratively with clinical and administrative leaders to drive excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and innovation in care models.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Strategic & Operational Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans for home care services in alignment with organizational goals, driving performance, compliance, and growth.

  • Performance & Quality Management: Monitor KPIs, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to best practices, accreditation, and regulatory standards.

  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, identify cost-saving and revenue opportunities, and collaborate with finance teams to optimize billing and reimbursement processes.

  • Team Development & Culture: Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional & Community Collaboration: Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance care coordination, patient satisfaction, and community relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in healthcare

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Proven ability to lead complex operations in a healthcare setting

  • Strong understanding of home care regulations and service delivery models

  • Experience in driving measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction

  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement

  • Ability to navigate matrixed environments and build consensus across diverse teams

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$90,000.00 - $140,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
