We are seeking a part-time or full-time Insurance and Medical Biller to join the Revenue department.
Compensation: $18-$22/hour DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Complete commercial and medical billing in an accurate and timely manner
- Contact insurance companies regarding denied claims
- Send appeals to insurance companies with appropriate documentation.
- Contact insurance companies and patients with questions related to billing, contracting, and credentialing
- Assist with other duties in the Revenue and Contracting department, including financial analysis, copayments, payables, payment posting, reconciliation
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- 2 years of working experience in medical billing, credentialing or related field
- Understanding of finance fundamentals
- Demonstrated proficiency with productivity software (Microsoft Office or GSuite)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced, expanding organization
- Experience with HIPAA and compliance-sensitive environments
- The ideal candidate is proactive, results driven, extremely organized, and a self starter
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to collaborate independently and within a team

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals.
