We are searching for the best talent for a Scientific Engagement Liaison (m/f/d) with a focus on Genitourinary (GU) cancer, located in Switzerland.
The Scientific Engagement Liaison within the Medical Affairs Oncology Team is dedicated to Genitourinary (GU) cancer and supports the oncology team with a particular emphasis on medical education events, targeted HCP engagement and patient-centric initiatives. The position is customer-facing, with 50% of time spent in the field.
Field project management: Organize and oversee GU cancer field-based medical activities events (e.g. medical education), including planning, execution, and follow-up.
Patient Advocacy Champion: Serve as a key contact for patient-focused topics and initiatives in GU cancer, foster exchange with patient organizations, and strengthen the patient perspective within the company.
Congress Management: Coordinate cross-functional alignment before, during, and after congresses. This includes activities such as providing training, facilitating alignments, defining responsibilities, organizing events at the congress, liaising with agencies for local congresses, and managing post-congress follow-up.
Scientific Expertise: Serve as resource for HCP relevant scientific information and emerging scientific trends within therapeutic area, with demonstration of continuously updated knowledge in these key areas
Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Natural Science university degree (with MD/PhD being an additional asset)
Proficiency in German and English required, working proficiency in French as an additional advantage
Experience in oncology and/or medical affairs
Pre-existing knowledge in oncology and pharma industry / medical affairs or health care environment is considered an advantage
Understanding of scientific research, clinical trial design/conduct and interpretation of medical/scientific data (scientific acumen)
Ability to work with clinical & scientific data in order to translate and communicate these into relevant information for the clinical practice of the HCP and patients (clinical acumen)
Effective collaboration and strong networking skills, ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Effective communicator with strong influencing skills and ability to discuss data with HCPs on a peer-to-peer level
Affinity for digital solutions and innovative event formats
High learning agility and open mindset for change
