An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the service and support leadership team at Roche Diagnostics Finland.
This exciting position will be responsible for providing leadership to an experienced and versatile engineering team spanning the whole country. The role will see you drive innovation and sustainability by creating and driving service strategy.

Your Role:
You provide leadership for the Engineering function
You construct goals, empower and enable success within the chapter
You will be an active participant in the Service Leadership Team
You create and implement of a service and support strategy
You explore collaborative models and international opportunities for cooperation
You drive continuous process improvements to increase efficiencies in service delivery
You prioritize service improvement projects aimed at optimizing and digitizing our service delivery. You represent Finland in regional and global initiatives and proactively drive change in the organization by forming and coaching squads
You plan, coordinate and monitor service related activities
You actively participate commercial negotiation
You maintain our service contract database
Who you are:
Preferably a masters degree in a scientific, IT, business/management based subject or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience of a service and support of medical devices or clinical diagnostic products (Medical Lab Technician, Biomedical Engineer, Field Service Representative, Product Support)
People Leadership experience preferred
Preferably experience in commercial tendering and service contract negotiation and management
Proficiency in both Finnish and English, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
Self motivated, self organized and highly resilient individual
To succeed in this role you will need to be technically oriented with excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to clearly communicate internally and externally. You are goal oriented, able to meet deadlines, seeing what needs to be done and fostering a team around you to succeed. Understand customer and internal organization structures in order to effectively navigate authority and permissions to overcome obstacles and ensure customer satisfaction. To provide unwavering visionary leadership to a team with diverse capabilities.
