A Day in the Life

Nutrino Health (acquired by Medtronic) is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to join our team of experts.

Come work with us and help shape the future of diabetes therapy. You will design and implement software, security solutions, and data pipelines for Medtronic’s Diabetes devices that will provide patients with data-driven therapy. You will be a focal point in defining the direction for new products and processes based on business strategy, with a significant impact.

You will work in a heterogeneous team composed of Data Engineers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Security Experts.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Build a production scale and robust infrastructure
• Lead designs of complex data flows and security solutions for diabetes therapy devices
• Design and implement cloud architecture, collecting and processing data from services and medical devices
• Explore and introduce new technologies to advance systems and therapy
• Drive initiatives to evolve architecture and methodologies

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 7+ years Full Stack / Backend Developer experience
• Experience in designing and running production workloads on AWS/GCP/Azure
• Experience with large-scale data processing pipelines and applications
• Experience with at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Serverless architectures, Stream Processing, Terraform
• B.Sc. in computer science or a STEM degree / an equivalent military background
