Duties & Responsibilities

This role will be customer focused, with support to Relationship Managers and Attorneys within the Specialty Corporate Trust Transportation, Equipment and Real Estate group.   The focus of the position will be executing the delivery of closing new business, including KYC information collection, coordination of documentation with external counsel and customers, routing accounts through new business, fee bid coordination with clients, among many other client facing duties.  There will be work required on successor transactions, as well as new corporate trust business.    

  • Review structured trust finance documents, escrow agreements and other transaction documentation, along with Relationship Managers and Corp Trust Attorneys, providing feedback on duplicate documents.
  • Assist Corporate Trust Attorney with transaction closings
  • Coordinate closings with relationship managers, ensuring comments are made to documents with mechanical and administrative duties of a transaction
  • Coordinate documentation certification, such as apostille and/or consularization requirements, for closings
  • Update the International Registry for granting PUE approvals
  • Coordinate with Regional Manager to ensure information and documentation fit the standards of Corporate Trust
  • Assist Corporate Trust Attorney and Division Manager with communication between the Compliance and FIU team and the line of business regarding risk & compliance matters
  • Assist fellow Execution Onboarding team members with tracking Corporate Trust department legal issues
  • Work with Corporate Trust attorneys to stay current on legal and compliance issues that may impact Corporate Trust department.
  • Create and maintain referral relationships with transaction counsel
  • Stay active in life of the trust transactions, assisting with changes made to the transactions
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM:

  • Demonstrates ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. 
  • Has ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Demonstrates good work habits, attendance follows policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills

Requirements

MINIMUM:

  • Must have Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or equivalent.
  • 4 -6 years of relevant corporate trust experience or relevant work experience

PREFERRED:

  • Specialty Corp Trust experience

Work Environment:

Self-directed, deadline driven environment which can change quickly based on customer and subordinate's needs.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $57,760.00 - Maximum: $149,000.00
