SolarWinds is undergoing a significant transformation toward our cloud future. This pivotal moment requires a new team of expert technology strategists to deliver against our strategic vision. This role focuses on scaling AI-powered agents and automation tools to support the demand generation campaigns for our Observability, Service Management, and Database subscription portfolio.

Team & Reporting: This position is a key part of the GTM Technology team within Marketing Strategy & Operations. The GTM Tech team supports both Marketing and Sales by providing tools, enablement, and insights to manage the overall lead flow across inbound and outbound activities.

Core Responsibilities

• The GTM Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI and automation solutions, from design to governance.
• AI Engineering & Automation
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and machine learning orchestration patterns (e.g., prompts, chains, context packs) for GTM functions.
• Build and maintain complex Zapier Canvas automations and high-impact GTM integrations.
• Develop retrieval integrations (e.g., Glean/Genie, transcripts, product telemetry) to ensure agents are grounded with accurate, real-time business context.
• Implement and manage Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) approval workflows for critical processes.
• Build reusable automation modules, templates, and workflow standards for enterprise-wide adoption.

Operations, Governance, and Reliability

• Establish scalable governance frameworks and processes for AI agent deployment, behavior management, and compliance with ethical and security guidelines.
• Monitor system health, error rates, and uptime, ensuring integration reliability across the GTM stack (Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Qualified, 6sense, Slack, Google).
• Define, track, and continuously optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for agent task accuracy, resolution speed, and measurable business impact (ROI).

GTM Strategy & Enablement

• Translate sophisticated marketing and sales programs into technical specifications, with a strong emphasis on programmatic execution and evergreen email nurture design.
• Serve as the internal AI evangelist, developing documentation, knowledge bases, and training playbooks to empower cross-functional teams in adopting agentic solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders in Demand Generation, IT, Security, and Sales to align AI deployments with broader business priorities.

Required Technical Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in B2B marketing, Revenue Operations, or Sales Strategy, with a deep understanding of lead funnels, ABM principles, and demand generation metrics.
• AI/LLM Proficiency: Proven experience with AI prompt engineering, understanding of agent alignment, and failure mode management in AI systems.
• Data & Systems Literacy: Comfort with structured and unstructured datasets, strong preference for SQL proficiency, and the ability to independently analyze agent performance data.
• Platform Expertise: Proficiency in a range of GTM and automation tools, including:
• CRM (Salesforce/SFDC)
• Marketing Automation Platforms
• Automation Platforms (Zapier, Make, Retool, Relevance AI)
• Familiarity with agent platforms like Glean Agents, Google Agentspace, or similar ecosystems.

Preferred but Not Required

• Foundational knowledge in Python or JavaScript, or "vibe-coding" aptitude, for managing tool interactions and API-first platforms.
• Experience with LLMs, agent architectures, or agent orchestration frameworks (like LangChain or CrewAI).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.
• Background in no-code/low-code platforms.
• Experience implementing MCP frameworks between GTM tools.
