What You Will Do:

  • Work independently and within a team environment to develop new products

  • Create / maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of parts and assemblies

  • Prototype, develop test plans, and validate new product offerings through in house and/or external testing. Includes assisting with field trials, product release and post launch support

  • Assist operations by troubleshooting design related issues, validating, and managing engineering design change requests

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 7+ years engineering experience

  • Experience in pumping equipment a plus

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Able to complete required documentation including reports and presentations

  • Experienced in 3D modeling and 2D drawings (Solidworks)

  • Must be self-motivated and able to communicate effectively with peers

  • Strong desire to learn and be a problem solver

  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.

  • Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual

  • Work in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs

  • Work in an unsupervised environment

  • Read, write, and speak English fluently

Physical Activities

  • Hearing:  Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.  Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

  • Sitting: May sit for extended periods of time.

  • Moving around the office: Moving between desk and file cabinets and/or office equipment.

  • Repetitive motion:  Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer.

Visual Acuity

  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer monitor.

  • The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
