This is an opportunity to work on the Digital Identity platform that acts as an enabler for all NAB’s digital channels and constitutes the InfoSec platform for key initiatives such as Open Banking which signals the first step into the implementation of CDR here in Australia and will form a blueprint for CDR implementations into other industries in the coming years.
In addition to your strong technical capability, you will be a proven team player, independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement Industry standard authentication/authorisation protocol like OAuth2 and OpenID Connect..etc
Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with other team members to build scalable micro-services APIs using Java technologies on AWS/Azure Cloud Provider.
Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tooling
Provide robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must have
Experience as a Java engineer in a complex, enterprise-level development environment for at least 4 years
Solid experience in JAVA 8+
Solid experience in Java open-source frameworks, including developing using modern frameworks, e.g. Spring Boot, Apache Kafka
Proficient in writing well-structured, efficient, and well-documented code
Experience in designing & developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based system
Experience in Cloud computing and Amazon Web Services
Practical experience in Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience in modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, NPM, Gradle)
Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
Experience in Agile development environments
Ability to work in a dynamic and continuously changing environment
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Nice-to-have
Able to troubleshoot issue in non-production and production environment
Able to write well-structured and clean document
Able to present design document to stakeholders
Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
Jenkins CI/CD, GitHub, SonarQube, Gradle, JFrog
