This position reports to:
Production Engineering Manager__
Your Role and responsibilities:
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the ELDS division.
Support of assembly processes – hands-on support on the shop floor, resolving issues during the assembly of switchboards
Risk identification and mitigation – analysis of hazardous situations and activities with potential risks; development and implementation of measures to eliminate identified risks
Development of fixtures and tools – design and development of special assembly fixtures to increase efficiency and safety
CAD design – creation of technical drawings and simple design solutions (SolidWorks / AutoCAD)
Supplier management – preparation of specifications, selection of external partners/suppliers, and coordination of the procurement process for external fixtures and tools
Cross‑functional collaboration – coordination and cooperation within the production unit and with other departments
Your Profile:
Education
Minimum secondary education with a school‑leaving certificate and practical experience (at least 2+ years), or a university degree
Technical Skills
Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD) – advanced level is not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of mechanical engineering practices and assembly processes
Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) principles
Personal Competencies
Analytical mindset with a strong focus on safety and efficiency
Initiative, responsibility, and ability to work independently
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and a constructive approach to problem‑solving
