IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems that support the business operations.
  • Lead infrastructure projects such as upgrades, expansions, and system integration efforts.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Management:

  • Lead the implementation, support, and optimization of MES to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure MES integrates smoothly with other enterprise systems
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of MES, ensuring it aligns with production goals and KPIs.
  • Develop strategies to support the digitalization of manufacturing processes, including data acquisition, production scheduling, and real-time monitoring.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiencies through MES capabilities.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Work closely with other departments, especially manufacturing and production, to ensure alignment of IT and operational strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact between IT and manufacturing to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Budgeting and Reporting:

  • Develop and manage the IT budget for infrastructure and MES-related projects.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on infrastructure performance, project status, and key metrics related to MES.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost-effective solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on infrastructure.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with MES platforms such as Siemens Op-center, or similar systems.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and other manufacturing-related systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, deliver results on time, and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
