ROLE

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our growing team. As a BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization make data-driven decisions and achieve its strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder management: Interact with various people/departments to gather business requirements and understand needs to generate the right outputs.

• Reporting: Create and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to various stakeholders.

• Data Visualization: Develop interactive and visually compelling data visualizations using BI tools like Looker studio, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense or similar platforms.

• Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a central data warehouse.

• Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by implementing data quality controls and validation procedures.

• Business Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving business processes and strategies.

• Documentation: Document data analysis processes, reports, and data models for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.

SKILLS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques (not essential).
   

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker studio, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense or similar.

• SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.

• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
